Cork’s largest and most celebrated farmers’ market, established in 2006 and held every Thursday on the plaza outside the main entrance to Mahon Point Shopping Centre. Over 50 stalls, with a vision to be as plastic-free and sustainable as possible – most stallholders grow, rear, catch or bake their produce within an hour’s drive of Mahon Point.
What’s on: fresh fish, organic meat, local fruit and vegetables, artisan cheeses, baked goods, street food and coffee.
Awards: Good Food Ireland ‘Best Farmers Market Award’, McKennas’ Guide ‘Best in Ireland’ Award, Best Farmers Market in Cork (96FM Best of Cork).
