One of Ireland’s biggest Christmas markets, held in the grounds of Belfast City Hall at Donegall Square. Over 20 years running, over 1 million visitors last year with 40,000 on opening weekend alone.

What’s on: 100+ wooden chalets from local and international traders, a food court with dishes from 32+ nationalities, Santa’s Grotto, vintage carousel and helter-skelter, beer tents serving Gluhwein, hot toddies and festive cocktails.

Opening hours: Mon-Wed 10am-8pm; Thu-Sat 10am-10pm; Sun 12pm-6pm.

Run by Market Place in conjunction with Belfast City Council.
