Cork City Council’s flagship festive market, transforming Emmet Place and Grand Parade into a Christmas village of wooden chalets each November and December.

What’s on: artisan crafts and handmade gifts (Irish jewellery, hand-printed ornaments, knitwear), festive food & drink (Gluhwein, bratwurst, waffles, cheesecakes, specialty coffee), the Corkmas Stage with live music in front of the Opera House, the Solas interactive light and sound installation, a Ferris wheel and carousel on Grand Parade, and a Santa Experience at Emmet Place (Fridays-Sundays).

Opening hours: approx. 12pm-8:30pm at Emmet Place/Grand Parade; 10am-8pm at Marina Market.

Date status: Expected, based on prior years – please verify with Cork City Council closer to the date, as 2026 dates had not been formally announced at time of research.
